When faced with a bazillion things on your to-do list, a 6pm meeting scheduled by your boss, and the needs of your children, it may feel like there's no room for exercise. However, incorporating physical activity into your routine can make a significant difference. Exercise doesn't have to be time-consuming; even short bursts of activity can have a positive impact on your overall health.
In this blog post we will discover tricks to keep you working out, no matter how busy you are.
1.Schedule your workouts like you schedule your meetings
Try to schedule workouts in advance, and make them non-negotiable appointments with yourself. Keep your workout clothes ready for an added time saver.

2. Sign up for a fitness class - and actually turn up for it
To find the right fitness class for you, look for one that is convenient for your schedule, easily accessible, and enjoyable. Once your booked on, you have to turn up on time, with the added accountability of getting to know others in the class. Having a fitness instructor leading the class offers several benefits. They provide guidance, ensure proper form, and plan effective workout routines.

3. Sweat while your kids are sweating
While your kids are busy sweating it out at their training sessions, it's an excellent opportunity for you to prioritise your own fitness. Instead of just sitting and watching, why not make use of that time to break a sweat yourself? Could you go for a run? Is there a gym near by?
4. Get up even earlier
That's right! Try setting your alarm 30 minutes earlier than usual and dive right into an early morning workout. Starting your day with exercise can set a positive tone for the rest of the day, boosting your energy and productivity.
5. Make it a date
Find an activity both you and your partner enjoy and could do together. Ticking off fitness and bonding time is a perfect way to schedule in those workouts. It doesn't need to be at the gym, could you sign up to a dance class? Outdoor adventure? One of our on-demand challenges?

6. Sneak in a lunch time workout
Make the most of your precious breaks by incorporating some exercise. Even if you can't make it to a fitness class or the gym, don't worry! You can transform your office into a suitable space for a quick workout. Consider investing in a stability ball, a set of dumbbells, or a resistance band to create a mini workout station right at your desk. These simple tools can provide the necessary equipment for a variety of exercises, helping you stay active and fit during your work breaks.

7. Take the kids with you
If you have a young brood, consider investing in a jogging buggy. This allows you to bring your little ones along while still getting your exercise in. Alternatively, you can strap your bundle of joy into a carrier and incorporate squats into your workout routine. Not only will this provide you with extra resistance during your squats, but it can also serve as a fun distraction for your little one. Finding creative ways to involve your children in your fitness activities allows you to spend quality time together while taking care of your own well-being.
8. Get moving while you watch TV
Just because you're catching up on your favourite series on Netflix doesn't mean you can't multitask and squeeze in some exercise too! Check out our Instagram for some ideas on how to stay active while enjoying your series or film. To give yourself an extra nudge, try leaving a few dumbbells or your resistance band near the TV as a visual reminder to incorporate some exercise during your viewing time.

9. Power up any stairs
Rather than casually walking up a flight of stairs, challenge yourself by increasing your speed and the number of steps you take within one minute. If you can do so safely, consider taking two steps at once, as this can further target your glutes. By upping your intensity on the stairs, you can elevate your heart rate, engage different muscle groups, and enhance the effectiveness of your workout.

10. Master your mindset
Try approaching your workouts as something enjoyable rather than something you feel obligated to do. Instead of thinking of exercise as a task, cultivate a mindset where it is something you genuinely want to do. Shifting your perspective in this way can work wonders for your fitness routine. By viewing exercise as an activity that brings you joy, you'll find yourself more motivated, engaged, and enthusiastic about staying active. Embrace the positive mindset and watch how it transforms your overall fitness experience.
Remember
In the midst of a busy, stressful, and overwhelming life, finding time to exercise can make a significant difference. Not only does it boost your feel-good endorphins, but it also provides a much-needed distraction from your daily worries. When you make exercise a regular part of your weekly routine, you'll begin to experience the many benefits it has to offer. These positive outcomes, whether it's increased energy, improved mood, or better overall well-being, will ultimately keep you motivated and coming back for more. Prioritise your fitness, and let it become a valuable tool for managing the challenges of life while nourishing your physical and mental health.
Enjoy moving your body.
